Really engaging!

"Bon Voyage" was really entertaining. It takes place as the Nazis invade France and it's a sort of farcical melodrama -- it has brilliant pacing, it's visually engaging, and has a fun (and also serious) plot. It stars Isabelle Adjani, Gerard Depardieu, Virginie Ledoyen, Yvan Attel and Gregori Derangere (he's actually the main star). It's also gorgeous to look at -- both the locations and the actors (well, not Depardieu). It was nominated for 10 Cesar awards (French Oscar) including best picture. |
