Great Foreign Film

This is one of the greatest foreign film I have ever seen (with the exception of some martial arts films). The plot is intelligent and keeps the audience entranced. The costumes, sets, and props helped elevate the film to more than amazing. Gerard Depardieu offers a decent performance, but the best performances come from Gregori Derangere, Virginie Ledoyen, and Isabelle Adjani. The film doesn't draw out like many historical dramas, which is relieving. There are dashes of action, romance, mystery, and suspense. The film has the potential to please any viewer. |
