I loved this movie! A funny intriguing and stimulating story rendered in an intelligent yet subtle way. I was glued to the chair to see how the story developed, and, most importantly, enjoyed not only the three main characters, but also the little stories that appeared here and there, of minor characters who were on the screen just for a few seconds, yet fully described to us: the children, the old man, the sister, the politicians, and all those other minor characters. This is what european movies have that american movies do not have: they represent life, not the Hollywood idea of life! reminded me of the old Renoir movies. A great A. |
