Before there was frank delima, before da braddha's there was..."Rap Reiplinger".. At the top of my most favorite list of best of all time comedy's RAPS HAWAII. Raps is and will forever always be the best comedian, the world has ever seen. Born and Raised in Hawai'i of Hawaiian ancestry himself. Raps unique talent and hilarious skits make you coming back for more, more, more. Yes among all the new Hawai'i comedians, for me Raps will always be at the top.
I'm so very happy to present to you this film. All locals from Kaua'i to Hilo knows who raps is. And they know everyline, every joke, and every thing he says. Raps style and his comedic proformace gained him awards all over the country as well as a 1979 NY comedy award for most talent comedian. The first ever to win that award from Hawai'i.
Sadly about two years after this comedy skit was made Raps past away. However, his legacy lives on in those who choose to laugh, sing, and enjoy life. Raps plays it all in this dvd, from Aunty marialani, to Da Surfah, to Murdy Merdock...So much, much, more...A Really inspirational comedian for up and coming comics in Hawai'i. Great DVD, i've been a Raps fan since i was seven years old and will always be his fan forever. |
