Why have we never heard of this movie?

If I hadn't tripped at the video store, I would have not fallen on the floor and would not have landed next to a Scott Baio movie. I would have not picked up the movie, rented it and fell in love. On the cover of the DVD box one reviewer stated "Better than My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Well, I wouldn't go that far, as the movies are VERY different, but both have that ethnic feel. Bella is more sweet compared to funny. Set in Pittsburgh, A Wedding for Bella, has a gentle flow of family and love.
It annoys me to no end that murderous movies filled with hate, rape, kidnapping and murder get all the attention and a sweet movie like Bella gets put on the bottom shelf when only a clumsy reviewer can find it. |
