128 lbs, calories 3000 (mostly movie theater popcorn with fatty, lard like butter substance that leaked through and stained cloths) cigarettes 0 as am not allowed to smoke in theater, alcohol units 2 (at bar near theater before movie started, as got there slightly early) Number of fabulous Bridget Jones moments-loads!
10 p.m. Write movie review for Yahoo! groups. Am serious journalist now

Sorry about that...couldn't help myself--here's my review, promise.
I love Bridget, therefore I loved this movie! It lacked the charm of the first, at least some of the time--but, mostly it was right on. You knew it was Bridget and you could again identify with her and her latest plight. I don't think that I would have fallen as hard for Bridget if I were just now meeting her, but I loved seeing her grow up a bit and frankly, just loved seeing her again. I wish it had more of the Bridget/Marc romance--not enough of Marc and a bit too much of Daniel, even though I thought Hugh did an excellent job! Very funny and enduring moments in the movie. Overall, I'm satisfied. If you are a Bridget fan, I don't think you'll be disappointed. ~The End |
