I went to "Chestnut Falls High" with the dude who wrote this book .....in fact I was acquainted with him. This is such a load of B.S. What would he know about the fear of being drafted? He had a rich Jewish daddy. I wonder how many boys with rich Jewish daddies died in Vietnam....I'm willing to bet the stats are low. The acting sucked, the story line was shallow, and the whole movie reeked of amature high school film making class material. Don't bother wasting your time watching this piece of crap....the only reason I did was I saw it in the library and was curious, since I grew up with the loser who wrote the book the movie was based on. |
