I'm not sure what happened between the first movie and now, but someone royally screwed up. First of all, the most dissappointing part of the entire movie, where in the world did they get the kid?? Someone send the poor boy to acting school. Second, what's up with the deer? Anyone? Yeah, I think you'll be just as confused as I am, cause it is NEVER explained. We're left to our own devices on a good portion of this plot. It drags on and on until you're screaming, but not from terror, but from utter frustration because they took two hours to sum up what could have been filmed in one. Some of the visuals were cool, but you can't base a film off that. You need substance, and Ring 2 just doesn't live up to the first, or even come close. Here's hoping that they don't waste their money to make a third. |
