The Ring Two from a Teen's View

I saw the Ring Two last night with a few of my friends. And since the majority of teens who post reviews on here write something like "OMG! IT WAS SOOO SCARY!!!!!!!!11", I decided to write my own teen review that maybe all of you can actually understand.

The Ring Two wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best thing I've ever seen. And I SURE AS HELL didn't think it was scarier/better than the first one.
I guess maybe it's because the first one seemed so...dark. The video in the first one haunted me for about 5 days... There's not exactly a "video" in this one, and the little girl who played Samara was barely in it.
The graphics made me laugh histerically, Let's just put it this way: I've seen better graphics on the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Samara looked like the spoof of Samara in Scary Movie 3. *Which was very disapointing to fans of the first one*. The deer looked like something from a bad hunting video game. Although, the water effects were quite interesting and effective. And of course, what would a teen horror flick be without a dead body? There were two of the dead bodies that Samara had killed. They of course made us all jump out of our seats a bit, but I think they could have done a lot better.
The movie's plot was a bit iffy... It kinda got me confused...
The way that the people die from the movie was NOT like the first one. Then again, we really didn't get to see anyone get killed except for Noah and Katie. Well...wait a minute. You all remember how Noah died right? Working on something, saw his T.V. get all fuzzy, decided to sit down, see what it was, saw a girl coming out of the T.V...Right? Well, it was completely different in this one.
But if you were scared of the first one, you might be laughing through this one. I'll admit, there were a few parts that scared me. I'm still a bit afraid to take showers, go into public restrooms, Cows-I mean Deer, and needles.
Which is really odd... Because in the first one, we were all mostly afraid of only 1 thing... The Tape. It was the only thing in the movie that tied the whole thing together. Without the tape, there wouldn't have been Samara...Or is it the other way around?...Nevermind.
Anyway, to sum up the movie, it was interesting. If you want to jump at some things, then laugh about it later, this movie's for you. But from a teen's perspective that was expecting a lot from this movie, it wasn't as good as the original. If you REALLY wanna see it, then go ahead. But I suggest waiting to rent it.
