The Ring Two continues to tell the story of the "cursed videotape" in which after seven days of watching it, you die. Except this time around Samara, the evil girl in the tape, has decided taht she needs a mom, and takes over the body of Aiden, Rachel's, (Naomi Watts) son. Does the plot sound interesting? Yes, yes it does. But something went terribly wrong in the productin of this movie, and now we are left with this piece of crap.
This movie goes all over the place. First we realize the videotape has never died. Second, we realize Samara isn't gone. Then Aiden gets sick, gets attacked by deer, goes to the hospital, kills a couple of people, and walks out the front door. And is his mother concerned that theres a dead body in the truck parked outside her house, and that her son has just walked out of the hospital while he still has hypothermia? Nope! She's not. So she makes some sandwiches.
The Ring two is a train wreck of a movie. It flies all over the place, in terms of plot. There are two many causes without effects, and two many effects without causes. The visuals aren't all that great either, except for one breath taking scene in which water flows up and floods, but even that isn't a great scene. After the water soaks practically evry inch of the walls, ceiling, floor, and people in the bathroom, there are still conviently dry towels waiting for them to use. And lastly the film isn't scary- at all. Not a second. Not even a milla-second. Theres not even any scenes of suspence.
So, too sum all of this up, what can I say? Simply don't see this. Even if you really REALLY want to, don't. I'm not saying its the worst movie you'll ever see but it's definately one worth avoiding.
