Just got back from the special screening and this movie keeps up to the original in soooo many ways. It was pretty scary at some parts but i admit it wasn't THAT SCARY! It keeps you really interested with the story and with the characters. The acting was really good especially Naomi Watts. Not that the movie is perfect, there are a few plot holes. For instance, why on earth, after the events of the first movie, would Rachel still own a television or allow her son to watch it? That doesn't really make sense to me, and the idea of a deadly videotape does sound a little corny... anyway other than that the movie is great sooo go and watch it.
