Took the three guys who work for me to the matinee today (thanks to some free passes they gave us). I think I got ripped off!!
The acting was horribly bad. I was a HUGE Dukes fan back in the day, but it was nothing like this. The actors in this movie are playing chariactures of TV show characters. Its as if some Hollywood producer says "I know, let's make a movie about a TV show. We'll take some California actors and have them pretend to be actors pretending to be Southern boys. Yeah - that'll sell. Hell, the kids'll buy anything with Jessican Simpson's ass in it!".
And Jessica - well, she's crossed the "Britney Line" now, and is a bona-fide slut. Pity. I'm even having issues with my boyhood idol, Willie Nelson, for being in this horrible movie. All I can say is, I hope he was stoned for the whole shoot...because I wish I would have been to sit through this piece of garbage.
AVOID THIS MOVIE!! WORST MOVIE SINCE "THE FLINTSONES - VIVA ROCK VEGAS" (don't ask - free movie pass thing, too....) |
