Mixed Feelings

This struck me as an attempt that fell flat on its face. It does not devolve into soft core pornography (a charge that can be made of Circuit), but the characters are not particularly captivating. The lead character is neither intellectually nor physically stunning, and the sexual olympics of those around him (including Alissa, Jed and Billy) are simply not interesting. The bittersweet ending cannot save this film from its many flaws. |
