We're all drawn to 3-hour-long-Oscar-worthy movies at this time of the year... where great acting, great plots and great visual effects are the focal point... but Dick and Jane is a short film that's great if you want to enjoy movies with popcorns and slurppies instead of holding your bladders so that you won't miss the stories...
Dick and Jane is relatable to our everyday lives, and it's fun to see Jim Carey tone down a bit, yet maintain his usual comedic acting.. Tea Leoni is becoming a perfect role for moms... she's beautiful...
so bottomline is, go have a laugh and relax in this movie... don't be so critical of the plots and all those nonissues...
besides.. this film is kinda a middle-finger pointed right at those companies such as Enron that put so many families on the streets... |
