Going from what made its prequel great to this was probably a stretch for the writers. Its minimal plot serves as only a showcase for its wasted talent, while its dialogue is nothing more than some miserable attempt of passing off as nonchalant coolness. This was the horror known as Ocean's Twelve.

What made the first movie great was that its stars were appealing, the plot went fast enough to satisfy the viewer, and there was plenty of cool that just came with the movie itself instead of it being written into the movie. All of that was missing from its sequel. The new stars didn't bring much to this bow-wow, nor did anybody else.

The story wasn't interesting enough to capture my interest. It went on and on until the end, which was only made worthy by a somewhat unnecessary dance sequence from the villain of the film. While the plot was barely cohesive, there didn't seem to be anything that would make this movie worth renting, buying, borrowing, or paying $8 to see.

The acting was sub-par from the main characters, especially Pitt, who can do so much better than this drivel. Clooney gave an unusually boring performance. Roberts, well, there wasn't much to say about her except that she definitely looked crappy (and acted so) while making this movie. Zeta-Jones's presence did nothing for, well, any part of this movie. The only reason this didn't receive a lower rating was because it looked like all involved were enjoying themselves.

The direction made this movie worse, frankly. Instead of actually doing his best to make this film a less painful experience, Soderbergh somehow managed to drag this crap out to even greater lengths than needed. The scenes barely came together in the final cut and some weren't of a high-enough quality to be worth screen time on a cinema screen.

The visuals of the cities were okay. The cinematography, as I mentioned, didn't meet any standard of mine.

I didn't like this movie very much because of how it dragged and talked its way from start to finish. See this if you must, but I DID warn you, after all!
