Saw the Mummy 3 premier last night, and I have to say, it was better than expected. The plot moved quickly, and although there were the usual unrealistic factors, the legend behind the movie was true, so it made it somewhat believable. Brendan Fraser and Jet Li did a good job, as did the actor portraying the son. Maria Bello did not do as good a job as Rachel Weisz, and her accent seemed a little forced, but the pace of the movie made you forget about it. Overall, better than the Mummy Returns, not as good as the original, but worth 10 bucks if you want to be entertained. |
