I have loved this book since I was 16(19 yrs now) so I was reluctant to view the movie, as it is so easy for the pictures in your mind to be destroyed by an inept film, but this was not the case. Those of you that have read the book know where they deviated from the original story, but the film version was well represented and the acting was good. I watched it over again because i liked it so much. the acting was excellent from the vetran actors( Eartha Kitt was especially chilling in her small role as Lola Dede) and the newcomers managed to hold their own. This is a movie worth watching |
