The movie was basically what I expected, which was entertaining and better than 2003's Hulk. Beyond that, it's nothing, well, incredible. Personally, I love Edward Norton as an actor, but I didn't find his predicament in this movie to be very compelling. Iron Man's success lay in Downey Jr.'s ability to make the character of Tony Stark one we could all love, root for, sympathize/empathize with, etc. This was not the case with Norton's Bruce Banner. Nevertheless, a decent film. I think I would have to be a hardcore Hulk fan to give it anything higher than a B-, though. |
