If you are reading reviews to figure out if you want to shell out 10 bucks to see this movie, I guess I would only recommend it iifffff
1. You and your boyfriend need some ideas about how to be romanticly creepy. (If you watch the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about.)
2. You want to spend 2 hours and 3 mins seeing Bloom and Dunst on a big screen :) :) :)
3. You think you are failure beacuse you messed up something huge and you want to kill yourself. (Please don't do it. Really.)
Overall, I thought the movie was just ok. It wasn't so crappy that I wanted my money back but it wasn't that great that I would want to see it again because some parts were slow, boring and uneventful. And there were a couple parts where I literally said "wtf?" (Seriously. Again, if you see the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about.) I guess the only reason why I went to see this movie was beacuse I think Orlando Bloom is hot. And he was, in the movie =)
Not to give too much of the actual movie away.. The movie was basically about Bloom's semi-self journey (semi beacuse of Dunst and others) in realizing that life is more important than success or failure in the business world. This was shown by contrasting his failure with the memories of his father and how he was successful as a person. And that was basically it. I was sort of disappointed because I thought it'd be more of a romantic comedy but most of the funny parts were already shown the the previews. And plot wise, I didn't feel like there was that much of a plot because it lacked suspense and drama.. But maybe that's because I'm too used to movies with super drama and things blowing up.
Mmmhh yeah. That's my 2 cents. |
