SECRET WINDOW was by far one of the best horror movie I've seen in recent times. You won't find any lame special effects, or ridiculous dialogue, or uneeded sex, or just about anything else you are sure to find in a normal horror movie. In here...you find something very, very rare...ORIGINALITY!
Johnny Deep really brought a lot of humor to the screen, just like he did in "Pirates," but don't worry he's no Jack Sparrow in this movie. The story is about how he gets accused by another man, Shooter (played by John Turturro), saying that he stole his story. Shooter goes on threatening Rainey (Depp) to "fix it" but Rainey refuses. You will have to watch the movie to see what happens...
It might not have been the best ending, it could just be me, but I still thought it had a decent conclusion and a wonderful beginning and middle. You just have to go out and see this movie. You will laugh, you will cringe, you will have nightmares the night after you watch it. It is definitely a horror treat, all in all. |
