With no expectations beforehand, we left the movie with huge smiles on our faces and a real "fair dinkum" feel good feeling. A movie true to the Australian movie genre (Muriel's Wedding, The Castle, Priscilla Queen of the Desert), this movie has an excellent cast, quirky subtle humor, a bitter-sweet storyline, and a underpinning of cheer for the little man. Highly recommended, particularly for a date. I loved this movie. |
