Everyone knows how excrutiatingly boring it is to go on long trips in the car. Why in god's name would they make a movie where almost 93% of it is an over the shoulder shot of the character driving down the road! Throughout the entire movie i had my thumb straddling the stop button. The only thing keeping me from executing the action of stopping it was the faintest hope that something interesting was bound to happen. I mean after two hours of watching this creepy guy drive cross country you would think there would be some immaculate ending. WRONG! There is really no plot(or point) in this movie and you can't really judge the acting because there is about 43 seconds of dialogue. The only thing good about this movie was some of the camera angles. Overall i would rather cut off my own tainte and feed it to my step-sister than sit through an encore presentation of "The Brown Bunny". The "bunny" isnt the only thing "brown" about this movie. I almost want to go back to the video rental store and ask if i can get back the FIFTY CENTS that i paid to see this movie! |
