Trading places with your mother. How freaky would that be? Very, like a nightmare come true. Disney yet again remakes another family classic but updates it to the millenium. Just like the success with the remake of "Parent Trap", the remake of "Freaky Friday" was fun to watch. Lindsay Lohan stars again in another remake (remember her as the twins from Parent Trap) and shows that she doesn't just want to be remembered as a child star. Jamie Lee Curtis was hilarious playing the daughter-in-the-mother's body. Basically imagine your mother being a teen again. The son was adorable too as he tried to adjust to his new mother and sister. For some eyecandy for girls there is Chad Micheal Murray who is so confused who he is falling in love with. The mother or the daughter? And for the boys some eye candy are Lindsay and her rock band. This is definetly a family movie but I highly suggest it more for the mothers and their daughters so when they leave the theatre, they understand each other better. |
