First off, let me state that I love being black and wouldn't change it for the world. I must say though that this movie has set our people back about 50 years. It was downright degrading, insensitive, racist, and not to mention just flat-out, a bad movie. Only a fool would think that in this day and age, such blatant misuse of visual entertainment as a recourse of our people's struggles used to poke fun at white people, is humorous!!
Furthermore, basically what the movie did is show how our people are "ghetto", loud, obnoxious, rude, racist, lazy, irresponsible, and totally incapable of running a business efficiently. The director and writers of this movie, I'm sure, failed to think about how this may effect black entrepreneurship in this country...or perhaps they didn't care and were out to make a quick buck.
Either way, don't waste your money on this nonsense. The less you spend on it , the faster it will go away! |
