I can't understand some of the people on this site that are giving this movie A+ across the board, calling it "THE BEST MOVIE EVER!" Either they are mentally deficient or are under the age of 16.

Julianne Moore always puts on a good performance, but the other actors don't follow suit for the most part. The direction I gave a C+ because there were some redeeming qualities in the screen shots and how the camera angles related to and reflected the plot. The visuals, I will not lie, were quite excellent.

HOWEVER...

THE STORY WAS TERRIBLE!!! It will only seem original to you if you've never read a sci-fi book or seen The X-Files. Wait, that's giving the movie too much credit. If you've even so much as been briefed on the plot to a science fiction work or have ever heard the phrases, "Things are not what they seem," or, "Think outside the box," you won't find this movie original or creative. The beginning is all right but the movie takes a sharp turn that is more comical than scary, just screaming desparate cliche. The answers revealed in the end are those you have already figured out, and the questions you want answered never are. Creators of this movie assume the audience is as dumb as a rock. If you really believe that this is the "BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME," with all due respect, you are... wrong.
