Unfortunately ruined the first two

I am huge fan of Blade 1 and 2, but this movie was completely different in almost every way. First of all, the humor took away from the action/horror/suspense that i would categorize the first two as. The vampires were annoying and not close to as tough or strong as the ones in the first two. Dracula died far to easily and quickly. In the first two, they did not initially know how to kill Frost or Nimec, but for some reason they killed Drake on the first try(and he should be 100 times more powerful than the other two). Blade himself was pretty weak in the entire movie, and had too many lines as opposed to the first two. Also Blade, Frost, and Nimec were badass in the first two, but no one was that in the third. There were no badass Blade scenes like when he emerges from the blood in the second one, or roars after drinking the girls blood before the last fight scene in the first one.

Also, the biggest problem was the last fight scene. It was far too short, and made Drake not look that tough at all. I think they put too much focus on the other two characters (Biel and Reynolds) and not enough on Snipes. After all, he is the sole reason i went to see the movie.

There are also some things in this movie that just plain dont make sense. For example, if Blade is the product of a pregnant woman getting bitten by a vampire, as it seems could happen to any pregnant woman, how could he ever defeat the man who created all vampires. Wouldnt it make sense that Dracula would manhandle Blade, given the fact that he is far stronger and essentially the "God" of the vampires. On the contrary he dies quickly basically because of a shot from behind. On a different note, it doesnt work well to put Blade into American society, and having him get arrested is just stupid. He looks like an idiot being interrogated by the police, especially after he sat down and gave up against human police officers. He can kill thousands of vampires but gives up against a group of police officers? Thats brutal. And how is Whistlers daughter beating up everyone in the movie? She's human, how does she have Blade-like powers? I dont get it. As far as Reynolds' character goes, he got annoying because the jokes dont work in a Blade movie, in van wilder yes, but not blade. Also i got sick of seeing him continuously get the ***** beat out of him.

Overall, i'd been waiting to see this movie for a long time, and i consider blade 1 and 2 in the top ten of my favorite movies. Blade 3 didnt cut it for me, because i think they tried to hard to make it different, when i thought the first two worked great. As much as i wanted it to be the best of the three, i'd call it a huge bust, as Blade nor the vampires, nor Dracula were badass at all. In this movie Blade looked more foolish and week than strong. I wish i hadnt seen it.
