Blade Trinity - Will not disappoint fans

Blade is back in his crusade against "suckheads" and he is taking no prisoners, as usual. In an interesting twist, the vampires begin to use the media to sway public opinion against Blade and now he must face not only the vampire empire but the FBI, as well. To complicate matters the original vampire "Drake" has been awoken and has decided to join the forces of evil in their hunting of humanity's last hope...

Some personal observations - the Blade franchise is "brain candy" and is not meant to stir the intellectual pot at your next cocktail party. With this in mind, Blade Trinity delivers well and is very entertaining. The comedic aspect present in Blade 2 (graciously provided by Ron Perlman's character "Reinhardt") is given a youthful twist with Ryan Renolds' character (Hannibal King) and brings some much appreciated laughter to this action-packed vampire flick. Parker Posey does a wonderful job as the evil Danica and assumes a role that is quite a departure from her usual comedies. If you are a fan of vampire movies, or the action genre in general, you will get more than your money's worth out of this show.

In the end, Blade Trinity provides hardcore action for those tired of the sugar-coated "Disneyness" that movies such as "National Treasure" provide combined with a strong comedic element. While it may not be the strongest of the three Blade movies, it is well worth the price of admission and is a pleasant departure from the watered down action movies that have plagued the cineplexes lately in an attempt to reach a larger demographic.
