As many people know, the original Dawn of the Dead is by far my favorite horror movie ever. So this comes as a surprise to many, and even to myself, when I say this: The remake... er, re-envisoning... of Dawn of the Dead out does the original in every way. Thats right, I'm telling you that this new "Dawn" is a terror-filled, non-stop thrill ride that is easly the scariest movie ever.
Now you might be wondering what I ment when I said re-envisoning. Well, where the original "Dawn" starts with the zombies already unleashed, the new one starts before that. It shows life before the dead rise. Then, in the first 10 minutes, you see panic... and death. It is an amasing scene, and a bone chilling scene. From there, were are introduced to new characters, not the ones from the original. This only adds to the scary factor as with new characters comes the unknown. You don't know who will be picked off or when.
Yes, I know many of you might say I'm crazy. My replie is watch the movie. If you don't, you'll be missing out on "The Scariest Movie Ever."
I give it **** out of ****. |
