This was pretty plain Jane flick. I did think Bernie Mac's performance was pretty solid but it was all just too much to get into. How in the world does the town of Milwaukee still love the guy after he quits in the middle of the season the first time he is chasing 3000? No one could really be that selfish I'd hope. You had to know he was going to do one final unselfish act to finish off his career. I thought he'd his a sac fly when get got the homer for 2998 but the bunt worked just as well. |
