Bernie Mack's acting was fantastic. The story was just not strong enough for Bernie to carry it alone. Being a Touchtone film you know there's always a love interest.
The suspence is there for all you baseball fans.
There just wasn't enough charactor and story line strength of the movie. 1/3 of the way into the movie, the story gets kind of slow and then it picks up again. Theres a twist to the story but not enough story line for the team , or his love interest.
A shame that Bernie had a Weak script. |
