Just came back from seeing this movie, and it was everything I expected and a whole lot more. It's very easy to believe what was done to the soldiers, rumors of such have been circulating around for decades. The psychosis of the affected soldiers reminded me alot of Gibson's Conspiracy Theory. In the beginning, it seemed that Denzel was serious paranoid, but as the story unfolds, and he discovers the truths one by one, you start feeling sorry for him. The murky scenes of reenacted scenes could have been made abit clearer, and there were some scenes that were unnecessarily gory. However, Washington manages to pull off the movie, and act his heart out. |
