this doesn't compare to the original. Maybe if you haven't seen the original you might enjoy this more, but there's no tension in this film, and the motivations for the "villains" in this are not as convincing as the original either. Good preformances of course (Washington is always good, as Streep is as well, even though it seems like she's reaching for an acadamey nomination) but go rent the original rather than this one. |
