This is the story of the famous Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC.King Leonidas of Sparta is play by Richard Egan.King Leonidas is protecting Greek freedom.King Xerxes of Persia play by David Farrar wants to make Greece part of the Persian Empire.The entire cast does a wonderful job.The director Rudolph Mate is a tour de force for this epic film.The battle scenes are especially good.The visuals are great.This is a film about patriotism. |
