But It's not supposed to be. This is not what the filmmakers were trying to achieve. If you went into this movie, and felt hounded by the paparazzi, felt even hatred for them, practically loathed them, and pitied Bo Laramie (Cole Hauser) and his family, then the film was a success in that sense. The filmakers were trying to bring you into a world that can sometimes be utterly disgusting and terrifying. It wasn't a work of art, it was a harsh truth. |
