This wasn't a edge-of-your-seat blowout thriller. This was more of a stealthy thriller. It kept you excited and interested while not involving huge, climatic action scenes. This was much more of a "quiet" thriller. It was very good though. I saw it on the shelves and decided to pick it up and so I had no idea what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised though. Mamet keeps you guessing the whole movie and it was really cool how he connected it all. The acting was pretty good. Val Kilmer did a good job and so did his assistant. The direction was great. Mamet kept you guessing throughout the movie and filled it with very subtle clues. This was a surprisingly good movie that I enjoyed very much. |
