This is a definite buy once it comes to DVD, something you wouldn't mind watching again and again. Reminiscent of the 1988 "Big" with some essential differences, never the less the comparisson is inevitable. That however doesn't seem to matter, for the kid in everyone, and for the adult-wanna-be in every kid, this is an enjoyable movie and a breath of fresh air from an unlikely source. I myself have been discontented lately with all these movie sequels and re-makes, same plot, different movie; same title, different plot; but when watching this movie I didn't think of that, I didn't think of "Big" while watching this, instead I wondered what would it be like to change the past? to be a kid again? would I want to be 13 again? Probably no to the latter, but for at least an hour and a half or so I was able to laugh and entertain the thought of what if? Jennifer Garner does a suprisingly good job with a character that could have just as easily bombed, but she manages to make it work, kudos to her for the performance.
