OK, the fact that everyone has been giving this movie such good ratings, made me get out of bed and write a review to save the ones that have yet to see this horrendous piece of work. OK so the beginning 10 to 15 minutes of the movie were such that made me react to all the loud noises and ghostly appearance, after that i exagerate not, me and my friends were actually laughing instead of being scared. I have a taste for all sorts of movies and horror movies tend to scare me especially more than they probably scare you or someone else, but this one just kept repeating the dead old formula of loud noises and sudden flashbacks that made me immune to react to them. Plot, what plot? Maybe i wasnt paying attention but what the heck was Boogeyman, who was that little girl, why would a father scare his son like that? Anyway the fact of the movie is that, sure it had its scary moments, and yes it did catch me offguard a couple of times and shook me (thats what scary movies r supposed to do anyway). But i just failed to care about the charcters, no matter what happened to them, i just didnt seem to care either way, and that is a sign that the movie has failed to build a connection of the audience with the characters.... Thumbs way down...

B-B-Q the cash and eat it
Throw it in the lake

Get cheap bear.. the list goes on... |
