This movie was outstanding!! Playing off the very thing that most of us were scared of as children. The Dark, unknown space that was our almost shut closet, or underneath of our beds where you couldn't check if something was there or not unless you put yourself "in danger" by sliding your head down to peak! The movie made me jump, it made me actually worry about the character, and it made me want to jump right through the screen and help him at times, and others it made me want to run out of the theatre. Those of us who were not scared of the Boogeyman when we were children or never really told stories of him, are the only ones who will not be scared or dislike this movie. A good story line, well placed effects and wonderful camera work make this a truly haunting film. I recommend it for all to see. |
