ok guys heres the deal with the boogeyman, its a great movie, if you like scary movies i highly reccomend it, but i have a few things that are a must for this movie.
1. you cannot leave the theater during the movie, it is sort of confusing but it all comes together at the end, so if your there thinking "wait, what the hell..wasnt..umm....watever.." for the first 45mins of the movie, fear not, you'll understand it in the end.
2. this is for the guys reading this review: if you have a girl that likes scary movies, take her to see this one, this is one that you two can enjoy together without the girl FLIPPIN out the whole movie..for the most part.
3. do not take children under 13 or 14 to see it, i am 16 and i had no problems, but i told my 12 year old sister not to see it because she for sure would have nightmares...if you didnt have a problem with the grudge you wont have one with this.
ok so now that you know whats up..here's the thing, the story was pretty good, had some nice twists, predictable at times but pretty good, the acting was not as good as it could have been..but thats how it usually is in horror movies, i thought the direction wasnt that bad for the type of movie as well..and the visuals...AMAZING..go see this movie i guarentee its worth your money. |
