Lovely, memorable romantic comedy!

I walked into the movie's premiere, worried that I might have already seen all the funny moments from recent commericals and trailers. Turns out I shouldn't have worried at all since the movie was full of many funny moments throughout the 2+ hours. Story itself is quite predictable but there are small twists here and there to keep the audience interested and entertained. Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton are both great, lovable, funny and genuine. My favorite is Keanu Reeves, who is wonderfully charming and also very lovable. Amanda Peet is sweet and adorable. I enjoyed the material and intelligent jokes presented by the movie. What struck me also was that the entire audience enjoyed the movie, as we all got comfortable laughing out loud every five minutes or so, and everyone left with a smile on their face. There are a lot of comedies out there but I have not seen a movie with such impact on its audience at least recently. My 2+ hours were well spent on this memorable movie. |
