Sandler & Barrymore - Great Combination!

Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are at it again in this new comedy with a romatical twist, 50 First Dates. I have to admit, the first 20 minutes or so was a little rough around the edges and had me wondering whether the rest of the ride would be worth it. Good news for Sandler fans...it was!
Peter Segal, who also directed Adam's last movie Anger Management, was on par again with smooth transitions and an easy-to-follow flow. However, some crude humor was clearly not necessary to make this film enjoyable - walrus vomiting incident towards the beginning and uncomfortable sexual gestures/comments from a she-male character.
Nevertheless, the rest of the film makes up for such petty mistakes tying together a wonderful, heart-warming story for any couple to see this Valentine's Day. Rob Schneider's character has to be the most enjoyable one so far, and Barrymore performs the role just right.
Go see it, you won't be disappointed...even the worst of critics have a hard time giving it less than a C.
