A great romantic comedy with good acting and a silly theme. Sounds like an Adam Sandler movie to me. Let's not forget the short term memory loss girl, Drew Barrymore. She did a fantastic job as well in this movie. Adam and Drew were very good together in 50 First Dates, no questions asked.
First off, I do not remmember the last movie I saw that had Adam Sandler in it, when it was a bad movie.(Don't listen to the critics, they never like Sandler's films) 50 First Dates is nowhere close to being a bad movie. As a matter of fact, this movie is very good. Adam Sandler is truly a great actor and always chooses good movies to be in.
The story of 50 First Dates was hilarious.It's about Henry the animal vet who falls in love with Lucy, who had the memory problem. Then the two go through a handful of funny scenes where Lucy either freaks out or beats Henry because she has no clue who he is. There is also good animal humor (more than in the trailer) with all of the seals around the vet.
50 First Dates has, a goofy story and pretty good direction, nothing is as good as good as the acting performances. If you want to see all of Sandlers great films include this one. It is the best comedy fo the new year. Go and see 50 First Dates. |
