Denzel Makes Great Movies!

This heart-wrenching story is a MUST SEE! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the actors belong in B films but Denzel Washington and Christopher Walken more than made up for them. The story was great! A washed out special forces operative with horrible skelletons in his closet is trying to find a purpose in life. He trys a job as a bodyguard. The child he is protecting warms his heart and gives him the purpose he is looking for. He basically becomes the adopted father of this girl and you can feel that the love he has for this girl is more than the love most parents have for their own children.
Then, just as his life begins to have meaning, somebody yanks the rug out and kidnaps the little girl. The ransom goes wrong and the girl is believed dead. Denzel goes after everyone responsible and uncovers a kidnapping ring protected by corrupt politicians and police.
In the end, Denzel saves the little girl and all goes well. I was, however, hoping that Denzel was hiding a C4 butt bomb for the bad guys at the end. You'll know what I mean if you see the flick.
A little gory but well worth the admission. Like I said, a MUST SEE. |
