The movie deserves a better rating than C. It has a tight puzzle like story line and all the pieces come together. It has a satisfying and short ending, which is much better than the many, drawn-out, slow motion endings of Lord of the Rings. I also like the philosophy of the movie that future is what you make of it, and your choices matter. The Rings has too much of fate and destine for me. Anyway it is a good sci-fi story and the screenplay was nicely written, a few good action-chase sequences, and fair acting. It is perhaps not Oscar worthy, but certainly a good fun popcorn movie. |
