While Barbershop 2 seems to be getting better ratings all around in comparison to the first, there is simply nothing new in this film. The plot remains..."save the barbershop because it's the only place we lazy half asses have to hang out and swap stupid stories with no relevance to the actual plot(which is also lacking). Queen Latifa is an addition to the cast, but aside from a couple of "I'd smile but be embarrassed to laugh moments," she doesn't cut it.
As far as seeing this movie is concerned, don't see it in the theater as your money would be better spent on a haircut. If however, someday in the future, your friend has the movie and asks if you want to watch it..............don't! |
