This movie to say the least is a masterfully crafted piece of art. I watched it with my mouth open and ming turning. You never really know what is going on in Barry's head and because of that, you can't help but to allow yourself to be devoured by this story. Calpurnia was beautifully acted by Lee Pace who is too unknown of a name. I watched it at a friends house, went home and went to sleep, woke up and it was still on my mind. This movie commands your attention. I recommend this movie to anyone that can stomache the fact that this is a true story. My heart goes out to Calpurnia and the Winchell family. This movie was phenominal and I am watching it again tonight with my girlfriend. BTW, I called my dad first thing the next morning (also transgendered) to let him know that this is a MUST see. |
