I thought that this movie was great... it's not only with the fashion scene (trucker hats... need i say more?) but it also interests teenagers. I thought that it was great that they not only showed male skateboarders, but also a female one, played beautifully by Jennifer Morrison. Of course, the eye candy wasn't all that bad... Adam Brody is just too cute, but it is a shame that he wasn't shown more. Most of the scenes were funny or at least entertaining... very memorable... especially that dance scene... GREAT! Also, if you want to get a little mushy, and pushing it a little far, it does have a meaning too. This may be hard to believe, but what I got out of the movie was that if you have a dream go for it, and don't just sit back and try to let it happen to you, because it won't. Most of the critics didn't like it, only because they're not of the younger generation or with the skater style.. why don't you go see it for yourself and judge it for yourself, as opposed to reading other people's opinions? Enjoy the movie! =) |
