This is truly a movie where you wish you didn't see the trailer AT ALL. There were still a few things, but almost all the meat was in the trailer dammit.

Wife and I truly looking forward to another "Meet the Parents"/"Something About Mary", and while the casting, chemistry was all there in very good form... They really should have added more laughs. The movie is only about 1hr 25min and seems longer UNFORTUNATELY.

This movie had allot more potential based on the theme/plot and the great talent they had onboard but the story just didn't deliver much humor outside what was on the trailer. They really needed someone way more intuitive involved with the direction and writing to try to see that it went way to dry and stayed there most of the time. Without enough laughs during many parts of the scene changes were noticeably harsh and out of place. Characters were interesting but they needed some more comedy written in.

Acting was defintely not bad, story needed some more cohesion, but I wouldn't have noticed that problem if there was MORE HUMOR than what was on the trailer.

BOTTOM LINE:: Drink a few beers, try to forget the trailer and get it on DVD... Maybe the stuff will seem new and funny and you'll have a good time.
