I loved the movie!
The only minor problem I found with the movie is when you place a SUPERstar in an epic/time-period role, you have a difficult time forgetting its the SUPERstar Tom Cruise. After about 30 minutes into the film, his acting and direction of the film allowed me to forget -wow isn't that TOm Crusie standing around in the middle of this movie.
Being J-A, I was hestiant to watch this movie. I've seen TOO many movies were they inaccurately show the Japanese. But, this movie did a great job of being essentially historically accurate, the armory was accurate and they used real japanese actors. |
