My parents moved to America in 1979 during the Iranian Revolution. They often speak of the wonderful life they enjoyed in Iran. Although we belonged to the minority Cristian group, the Persians treated us very well. They were warm hospitable people and very tolerant and respectful of all their guests.
I was glad to see this realistic portrait of an Iranian-American family and hope to visit Iran one day. |
